CROLIBERTAS is a new, fully automated electronic toll collection system, being introduced as a unified system on all motorways in the Republic of Croatia operated by Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC), Bina Istra, and Autocesta Zagreb–Macelj. The project ensures interoperability with the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS), making Croatia part of a single European transport area.
It is based on the concept of driving without stopping, allowing vehicles to flow freely, which provides users with a faster, simpler, and more modern experience when traveling on the motorways.
